Add the Outstand MCP server to Cursor and the in-editor agent can draft, schedule, and publish across 11 platforms. Announce a release the moment you merge it. No tab-switching, no separate dashboard.
You just merged the feature. The changelog is written. The last step - telling the world - is the one that pulls you out of flow, into a browser, across three dashboards. So it slips.
With Outstand wired into Cursor, that step lives where the work does. Ask the agent to post the release note to X and LinkedIn, or schedule a thread for the morning. It calls the tools directly and reports back with live links.
Cursor supports remote MCP servers. Add Outstand as a connector with OAuth, or drop it into your project config.
Sign up at outstand.so and connect the accounts you post from. Free tier included.
Paste https://mcp.outstand.so/mcp into Cursor's MCP settings and sign in with one click.
Tell the agent: "Post the release note to X and LinkedIn." Done, with links back.

}Everything you would do in a social dashboard, driven from the editor by natural language.
Publish one message to X, LinkedIn, Instagram, and 8 more platforms in a single request.
Queue a post for later with timezone-aware scheduling. Your agent sets the time; Outstand publishes it.
Upload images and video, then attach them to posts. The upload flow returns a live URL you can reuse.
Pull likes, comments, shares, and impressions for any post published through Outstand.
Reply to comments and repost or quote existing posts, where the platform supports it.
List connected accounts and their metrics so your agent knows exactly where it can publish.
This publishes; it does not scrape or monitor. Analytics cover posts made through Outstand, not the wider social web. X (Twitter) requires your own API credentials to connect - a platform rule, not an upsell - while eight networks are covered by included Managed Keys.
Yes. Cursor supports remote MCP servers. Add Outstand as a connector with one-click OAuth, or configure it in .cursor/mcp.json with an API key.
No. The same Outstand MCP server works in Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Windsurf, and any MCP-compatible client. Cursor is just one of the clients it plugs into.
With OAuth there is no key to place - you sign in once and Cursor holds a scoped, revocable token. If you prefer a key, it goes in the Authorization header of your .cursor/mcp.json entry as a Bearer token.
