Search the followers of a connected LinkedIn company page by name, using LinkedIn's People Typeahead API.

Search the followers of a connected LinkedIn company page by name, using LinkedIn's People Typeahead API. Each result carries the member's urn and full name.

Use case: mention a person in a post from that page. Pass { "urn": "<urn>", "text": "<name>" } in linkedin.mentions when calling POST /v1/posts/, with the same text appearing in the post content.

Limits:

  • Only works for LinkedIn company page accounts. Personal profile accounts get a 400.
  • LinkedIn only returns members who follow the page. Anyone else will not appear in results.
  • Searching by profile URL is not supported - search by name.
  • Requires the r_organization_followers scope. Pages connected before this scope was added get a 403 and must be reconnected.
