- X replies now trigger comment webhooks: Replies to a connected X account's posts arrive as
comment.receivedevents, the same way they already do for Instagram and Facebook, so you can handle comments across all three networks with one flow. This is on by default for any X account connected on an app with a registered webhook. - DM the author of an X reply:
POST /v1/conversationsnow acceptsx: { comment_id }to send a direct message to whoever replied to a post, matching comment-to-DM behavior on Instagram and Facebook. You can send more than one DM for the same reply, for example to safely retry a failed send. - Follower status on X comments:
comment.receivedevents for X now tell you whether the commenter follows the account and whether the account follows them back, closing a gap with the data already available for Instagram and Facebook comments. - Heads up: X bills reply and DM-lookup activity: Each delivered reply webhook and each comment-to-DM lookup counts against your X app's own usage, so busy accounts can generate real API usage on X's side.
- Billing portal opens instantly: The "Manage Billing" and "Update payment method" buttons in Settings > Billing now drop you straight into your billing portal session instead of asking you to verify your email again first.
