Instagram Reels Placement Control and ChatGPT Connection Fix

This release gives you more control over how your Instagram Reels are distributed and fixes a connection issue for ChatGPT users:

  • Keep Reels out of the main feed: A new optional shareToFeed setting lets you publish a Reel to the Reels tab only, instead of also appearing in the main profile feed. Leave it unset to keep the current default behavior, set it to false to restrict a Reel to the Reels tab, or true to explicitly allow it in both places. This is available on both the POST /v1/posts endpoint and the create_post/update_post tools, and only applies to single-video Reels.
  • Instagram runs on the latest Graph API version: All Instagram publishing now uses Meta's Graph API v26.0, keeping your integration current with Instagram's platform.
  • Fixed ChatGPT connection failures: Connecting ChatGPT to your account via MCP no longer fails when ChatGPT sends a language preference during authorization. If you previously hit connection issues with ChatGPT, reconnecting should now work smoothly.
