- Send quick reply buttons on Instagram DMs: Add up to 13 tappable buttons (a title and an id) to any message sent through the Conversations API. Buttons go out with the message text and work alongside scheduled sends.
- Open conversations with quick replies: Private replies to comments can now include quick reply buttons too. A tap counts as the contact's reply, so it opens the 24-hour messaging window in a single tap, the standard way to turn a comment into a DM conversation.
- Know exactly which button a contact tapped: Messages and webhooks now include an
interactionfield showing the type of interaction and the id of the button that was tapped, so your inbox can respond based on the selected option rather than parsing button text. - See the buttons you sent on any message: Sent message objects now include the full list of quick reply buttons that were offered, so an inbox can display exactly what the contact was shown.
- Clearer validation for quick reply buttons: Button titles over 20 characters, blank ids, and duplicate ids across buttons are now rejected up front with a clear error instead of causing confusing behavior later.
