Start Instagram conversations with private replies

This release adds a way to start new conversations from Instagram comments and improves compatibility with Claude's connector directory:

  • Start a conversation from an Instagram comment: POST /v1/conversations lets you send a private reply to someone who commented on a post, using the commentId and authorId delivered in the comment.received webhook. This is the standard way to open a direct conversation with a commenter on Instagram. Instagram only allows one private reply per comment and only within 7 days of the comment being posted; attempting a duplicate reply returns a clear 409 error, and a comment older than 7 days returns a 422. The Instagram-specific fields (comment_id, author_id) are grouped under an instagram object in the request body, keeping the endpoint ready to support other networks' ways of starting a conversation in the future.
  • Clearer status for new conversations: the endpoint returns the created conversation and its first message right away with a 201; check the message's status and listen for the message.sent webhook to know when delivery completes.
  • Try it from the demo scheduler: the Messages tab now has a "Start conversation" dialog where you can pick an Instagram account, paste a comment ID, and send a private reply directly, with clear error messages if the comment is too old or already replied to.
  • Smoother setup with Claude's Connectors Directory: our MCP server now meets Claude's directory requirements, so analytics tools like get_post_analytics, get_replies, and get_account_metrics no longer prompt for confirmation on every call, and the server no longer collects conversation-level data, making it eligible for listing in Claude's directory.
