• Instagram comment webhooks: Connected Instagram accounts can now receive webhook notifications for comments on posts, in addition to direct messages. If your app requests comment-management permissions during connection, you'll start getting notified of new comments and replies as they come in.
• Richer LinkedIn comment authors: The LinkedIn comments API now returns author_name, author_username, author_avatar_url, and author_profile_url so you can display who commented without extra lookups. A new resolve_author_names option fetches human-readable names for commenters, with sensible fallback handling when a name can't be resolved.
• Clearer Instagram DM privacy disclosures: Our privacy policy, terms, and data processing agreement now spell out exactly how Instagram Direct Messages are handled: what's stored versus relayed and discarded, how long stored messages are retained, and what your responsibilities are as the connecting business. • Easier discovery for AI agents and tools: outstand.so now publishes standard machine-readable endpoints (OAuth/OIDC discovery, agent skill descriptors, and a catalog file) so AI agents and automated tooling can find and understand our API and MCP server more easily.
• More accurate API examples: Example IDs, URLs, and request fields across our developer guides and website have been corrected to match what the API actually returns and accepts, so copy-pasted examples work on the first try instead of returning errors.
