- Instagram DMs now reach your inbox: Inbound Instagram Direct Messages were being silently dropped due to a mismatch in how Instagram accounts were identified. Messages now correctly match to the connected social account, so conversations arrive as expected.
- Instagram accounts are automatically subscribed to messaging on connect: Previously, granting message permissions during connect did not actually enable delivery, so newly connected accounts received no Direct Messages at all. Accounts are now subscribed automatically as part of the connect flow, and the exact permissions granted are recorded accurately.
- Correct inbox isolation for shared Instagram accounts: If the same Instagram account is connected across multiple separate organizations, incoming messages are now correctly routed only to the organization that owns that connection, preventing messages from crossing into the wrong inbox.
- Instagram OAuth token exchange no longer logs sensitive tokens: Access tokens returned during the Instagram connect process are no longer written to application logs, reducing exposure of sensitive credentials.
Note: accounts connected before this release need to be reconnected once to receive inbound Instagram messages.
