- Publish to Facebook Stories: Post a single image or video directly to a Page's Story by setting
publishAsStory: truein your Facebook configuration, mirroring the same option already available for Instagram. Since Stories don't support captions, comments, or mentions, we'll reject those clearly at submission time rather than silently dropping content you wrote. - Publish to Facebook Reels: Set
publishAsReel: trueto publish a video as a proper Facebook Page Reel instead of a standard Page video, so it gets Reels-specific treatment and placement on Facebook. No extra permissions or re-authorization needed. - Story analytics that degrade gracefully: Analytics for a published Story work as expected while it's live; once a Story expires after 24 hours, requesting its metrics now returns a clear "expired" result instead of an ongoing error.
- Media-only posts are now valid: You can submit a post container with only an image or video and no caption text, without needing a workaround. Fully empty containers (no caption and no media) still return a clear validation error.
- Facebook settings now reachable through MCP tools: Facebook-specific configuration, including page mentions, can now be set when posting through MCP tools; previously this was silently unavailable there.
